Gripple® fittings are widely used, but in orchards, where large loads are applied on structures, only fittings bearing the largest loads are used. Jumbo (wire with a diameter of 2.5–3.15 mm) is a fitting that carries a weight of 600 kg. Metal clamp is used for tensioning with the Jumbo fitting. Initial posts for fruit-growing structures are anchored with GPAK 4 –– a set that includes a rope with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 5 m, and a GP Large fitting.
